Software Engineer 140B - (Laurel, MD)

The EED-2 program is seeking an experienced software engineer with proven skill working in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment to onboard the existing Global Imagery Browse Service (GIBS) onto the NASA General Application Platform (NGAP) system. As a member of our GIBS in the Cloud (GitC) team, the applicant will be be responsible for development activities requires to evolve this system that provides full resolution visual representations of NASA Earth science data in a free, open, and interoperable manner system into a cloud-based service residing on NGAP. Job assignments: 1. Support the development and sustainment of the GitC system.
