LOCATER – FIBER OPTIC CABLE SYSTEM NATURE OF WORK Responsible for assisting Drill Operator in locating drill head and drilling in accordance with blueprints. Verify locate marks and confirm location of existing facilities. Assist with clean-up and other duties as assigned. The Locater is responsible for maintaining equipment per manufacturer’s specifications and safety guidelines. REQUISITE SKILLS Education / Certification: Min High-school degree or equivalent. Company will provide industry training and certifications if not already secured. valid drivers license is a plus. Background: Prior background with Subsite or DCI locating equipment required. Prior background in underground fiber and coax construction a plus.
