The New York Post is looking for part time news reporters to help expand our coverage nation-wide The right person for the job is an enterprising reporter who can dig up and break eye-popping original stories in their area and deliver them as highly-entertaining reads in the Post's signature tabloid voice. They can also spot under-the-radar local stories and advance them for a national audience, and provide on-the-scene reporting when big news breaks. Must be self-sufficient, fast, full of ideas and the kind of person who's willing to comb through lawsuits, knock on doors, ask tough questions and do whatever else it takes to find and nail the story. Background in news reporting in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment is ideal, but not as important as a proven history of producing great articles that get people talking or leave them speechless.
