Underwriter/Consultant - (Steubenville, OH)

The Underwriter/Consultant (UC) will analyze info on self-insurance applications, determine the risk of self-insuring a client, evaluate recommendations from underwriting software, contact field representatives, vendor partners, and others to obtain details, and determine appropriate accruals and amounts of coverage. UC will also work on new group ratings, member renewals, and plan pricing. UC is responsible for ensuring the JHP member background is best-in-class and develops client loyalty through proactive outreach and support.
