Inorganic Synthesis Chemist - (Elk Grove Village, IL)

The Inorganic Synthesis Chemist provides lab support for our client, a global Electronics leader based on Marlborough, MA. Main research involves nanomaterial quantum dot synthesis for electronic applications. This role is a longterm contract (12+ month). Pay will be dependent onexperience/degree,and willrange from $26- $29/hr for applicants without much industry background, and $30- $35/hr for experienced applicants. Please note this role is based in Marlborough, MA. If selected for this role, you must be willing and able to relocate to Marlborough on your own expenses. Specific assignments include: Setting up and running lab equipment Synthesizing nanomaterials. Performing screening involving optical photoluminescence, absorption, image analysis and compositional analysis. Design and execute experiments, and based on findings, provide feedback and recommendations for test method improvements and modifications Preferred Requirements: - BS or MS in Chemistry or similar.
