Lead Proposal Writer - (Tampa, FL)

Supports the enterprise through the creation and management of content for contract procurement activities for new and existing markets. Develops, writes, edits and assembles high impact content, including executive summaries, for RFI/RFA/RFP responses by working within the business development team and across the organization through a variety of subject matter experts. In partnership with leadership, leverages in-depth background to provide mentorship and assistance to business development teammates. Key functions: Develops high impact content for proposals by conducting research and interviewing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to generate and develop content; reviews and edits input from SMEs to generate content; and works with graphic designers to translate concepts into informative photos. Leads content development in a manner that helps WellCare achieve organizational growth goals and maintains a database of content articulating WellCare's capabilities and approaches to key programmatic qualifications.
