Piper Companies is currently looking for a CAD Drafter in Reading , PA to join a reputable medical device company Responsibilities of the CAD Drafter include: Produce 3D models and engineering drawings required to manufacture mechanical objects conceived by engineers and designers using CAD software Collaborate with engineers to detect errors in drawings and designs Use and maintain plotters, printers, copiers and scanners Design & detail machinery from engineering sketches or layouts Requirements for the CAD Drafter include: 2 yrs of CAD system background, Solidworks and Solid Edge preferred Knowledge of manufacturing techniques/processes Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Life
