The Culinary Worker IV performs and directs the performance of complex quantity cooking and baking that requires a strong knowledge of cooking techniques. Working under the direction of a designated supervisor, he or she will ensure workers are following proper food preparations, service, sanitation and safety procedures. The Culinary Worker IV supervises and participates in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities, and assists with inventories and purchase requisitions. Additionally, he or she will observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards of service along with prepare and cook foods for special diets and participate in planning menus
