The Executive Sous Chef will work under Executive Chef Alex Lee, a two-time James Beard nominee for Best Chef in New York and a perennial New York Times 4 Star recipient. Job description: Under the direction of the Executive Chef, this position is responsible for supervising kitchen operations and represents the culinary operation for the Executive Chef during his/her absence. The incumbent assists the Executive Chef in all day-to-day activities associated with that position. The Executive Sous Chef provides direct supervision of the kitchen staff and ensures all policies, procedures and standards are followed. Job requirements: Assists the Executive Chef with the management of the Culinary Department. Conceives daily menu additions.
