Pharmacy Purchasing Coordinator - (Uniontown, PA)

Job details This position performs diversified duties to assume responsibility for the purchasing, monitoring and storage of medications, IV solutions, and supplies necessary for the operation of the Pharmacy Department. Education/Knowledge Qualifications Prerequisites: High-school diploma or equivalent (GED) Graduate of a certified pharmacy technician program or equivalent background that provides knowledge, skills and abilities to perform job functions. Essential Job-Related experience: Excellent oral and writing expertise. Well organized with a high degree of aptitude for information. Proficient use of Microsoft word and Microsoft excel. Expertise to maintain/update the computer competencies as required for the position Preferred Job-Related experience: Previous purchasing background Experience with procurement software.
