Sr Environmental Engineer - (Beaumont, TX)

Provides technical and regulatory oversight to the Refinery on air quality permitting projects that impact refinery operations and compliance with applicable regulatory and permit qualifications. Management of strategic permitting projects to install new equipment/units and/or increase refinery utilization. Ensures regulatory compliance and proper execution of all air permitting projects at the Refinery. Leads and provide technical direction to the site's direction and guidance on the Refinery air permitting program. Provides competency and ability in State and Federal air quality regulatory programs, including NSR, PSD, Permit by Rule, Title V, NSPS and NESHAP. Works closely with refinery operation teams to understand specific processes and develop an appropriate air permitting and compliance strategy. Performs emission calculations, complete air permit applications, compliance reporting and determine regulatory qualifications. Provides oversight to ensure projects are executed on schedule.
