Electrical Engineer - (Waukegan, IL)

SUMMARY Design and develop analog and digital circuits for automotive embedded controllers. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Select and test new electronic components. Perform WCA, DMFEA and bench testing. Ensure design compliance to customer specification. Support module builds, analyze and troubleshoot modules in the lab and if needed in the customer site. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Supports the definition of complex electrical designs, arbitrates design options, and monitors results. Participates and documents internal & external design meetings. Ensures that electrical design meets requirements, works with customer to ensure requirements are totally understood. Responsible for product electrical design and BOM. Successfully communicates appropriate project details to crossfunctional teams and management. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Provides technical support to production, marketing, sales, and/or other departments. Supports quotation activities for potential new projects.
