Sr Planner/Buyer - (Huntington, WV)

The role of Sr. Planner/Buyer is to plan, schedule, order and manage raw material components and Finished Good Inventory to support Master Planning build requirements and backorder, in an accurate and timely manner. Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules. Negotiates lead times with suppliers and manages schedules for timely delivery. Plans and generates IOL and Lens Delivery System schedules to support the Master Plan and changes in worldwide demand. Utilize MRP systems to ensure on time build and inventory replenishment without over/under stock for each end item, while meeting established DOH requirements. Performs JDE system entries to generate work orders and revise planning variables to coincide with current statistics.
