Research Associate II - Center for Addiction Research - (Galveston, TX)

Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree in basic science or equivalent and 2yrs of related experience or Master's degree in basic science or equivalent and no background required. JOB OVERVIEW: Performs a variety of routine and non-routine research assignments and experiments and assists with lab maintenance responsibilities. Compensation range $33,760 - $42,200 annually, commensurate with background. This position is in the pay band code: SC14. Specific Job Related Duties The Research Associate II will perform standardized laboratory assignments and will conduct primary research using a variety of techniques, e.g. high-throughput drug screening, cellular signaling assays, primary cell culture, preclinical assays, protein biochemistry and molecular biology.
