Analytical Chemist - (Collegeville, PA)

Kelly Services is seeking an Analytical Chemist for our client, a global Chemical Company, in Collegeville, PA. This role is a long-term contract opportunity (1 yr+), and the pay will be in the range of $23 - $28 / hour depending on background. The department this role with work with is focused on providing solutions for microbial control in a wide variety of end uses. These uses include preservation of paints, adhesives, metalworking fluids and mineral slurries. Activities include characterization of biocide actives or products, analysis of end-use matrices such as paints or field water for use-level concentration of biocide actives using a variety of instrumentation including, but not limited to: HPLC, GC, wet chemistry (titration and Karl Fisher); preparation of basic chemistry formulations. Typical responsibilities include: - Independently performing a variety of analytical techniques in support of R, customer and regulatory projects.
