Bone and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Quality Assurance Specialist - (Balcones Heights, TX)

DescriptionThe BMT Quality Assurance Specialist provides leadership, manages quality assurance activities, and monitors processes and regulatory compliance to meet the Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and other regulatory agencies with oversight of blood and marrow transplant programs. The BMT Quality Assurance Specialist will assist in creating and maintaining the blood and marrow transplant programs Quality Management Plan. The BMT Quality Assurance Specialist will establish systems to review, modify, and approve all policies and procedures intended to monitor compliance and performance of the clinical program.RequirementsA. Education/SkillsBachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science OR Bachelors degree in Nursing; other applicable Bachelor degree programs may be consideredKnowledge of hospital and / or laboratory accreditation which may include: Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA)
