Position title: Painter | Building Services | Fargo City: Fargo State: North Dakota Department : BUILDING SERVICES Job Schedule: Full-time Shift: Days Hours Per Shift: eight hr POSITION OVERVIEW Will carry out all painting and finishing tasks in a safe, professional manner, employing only acceptable practices. Must take extra precautions when working on Pediatric level and areas. Keep tools out of reach of children. Knowledgeable in art of paint mixing, color matching, blending, surface preparation, paint, varnish, stain application, plastering, glazing, wall covering installation and repair. Adept at explaining techniques and methods employed in the trade. REQUIREMENTS Incumbent may need to drive in order to perform their job, if so must maintain a current drivers license. Must have 4yrs job-related experience. Graduate of an apprentice to journeyman status program is preferred. Must have knowledge of painting, drywall and vinyl hanging techniques.
