Processing Operator I - 3rd Shift - (Sturgis, MI)

Position summary This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. In a production or manufacturing environment, the employee is responsible for weighing and mixing raw materials with machinery. Must have basic math skills and expertise to lift product into machine. Must have forklift background. May be required to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted. Education requirement is a high-school dimploma or GED equivalent. HS Diploma/GED required, Steel toed boots that come ABOVE the ankle are required & safety glasses are required. Principal role will be to support the Dryblending and Liquid Processing Operations. Individual will be required to operate a fork truck as part of their responsibility, so fork lift background is required. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds as needed. Applicants must be proficient using a computer. Applicants need to be able to communicate well with a team but also operate independently to solve problems in the processing depts.
