Safety and Training Coordinator - (Gouverneur, NY)

Titan Mining Corporation is reopening the Empire State Mines, operated by St. Lawrence Zinc Company, in upstate New York near the town of Gouverneur. We are hiring for the position of: Safety and Training Coordinator Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Director, the Coordinator must have strong organizational, computer, and communication abilities, be a qualified MSHA trainer for Surface and Underground in order to plan, organize, conduct, document and track various training programs for all new and current site employees as well as visitors in accordance to MSHA regulatory standards and company policy. Individual will conduct tests and inspections in order to identify strengths and weaknesses of current safety policies and procedures and revise as needed; support project costs controls with regard to health and safety equipment procurement; investigate incidents and submit appropriate reports; maintain and report industrial hygiene results; track safety statistics; and additional duties as assigned.
