Controls Engineer Background & Purpose of the Job The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supervising all aspects of the plant electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. In this role, you may be responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC-based hardware and software. You will work directly with the automation technicians to ensure our programmable machines are functioning correctly. This position ensures critical support for all production line related concerns while supporting continuous improvement projects and structured kaizen activities. You will ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal qualifications are observed for all work completed. This position will also be an active participant in all WCM activities, including pillar participation and resolution of maintenance suggestions.
