Participates in activities as part of the Purchasing Team. + Drives commodity savings, strategy and new program bid list. + Supports supplier development to identify low cost country sources of supply. + Negotiates proposals that achieve least total cost. + Solicits quotations from suppliers to support strategies and benchmarking. + Provides sourcing recommendations to Commodity Manager. + Works on assigned activities to improve commodity BOS metrics related to quality, delivery, service and cost. + Works on supplier VA / VE ideas and development activity in alignment with TA qualifications. + Works in compliance with Purchasing policies and procedures. + Participates in supplier negotiations.
