Hem/Onc Research Coordinator - Full Time - (Akron, OH)

Description: Position overview\: Coordinates the activities of research projects in Hematology Oncology under the direction of the Division Director . This includes data collection and analysis, coordination and implementation of project objectives, communication of project findings and working with the responsible investigator on the submission of new studies, amendments, and progress reports to the IRB. Coordinates and assists with the development of research publications and presentations and must maintain current expertise of pediatric journal publication qualifications. Some travel maybe required. Qualification: Experience required\: M.A, M.S., or Bachelors degree in health related position and 2 years experience. Strong medical experience (in pediatrics or oncology), knowledge of clinical trial protocols, and knowledge of IRB documentation and submission qualifications. Skill and experience at interpreting medical charts and abstracting data.
