## Job DescriptionResponsible for performing computational studies to support research in groups of the customers of the Computer Aided Molecular Design Core (CAMD). Methods and techniques related to the position include: Bio-and cheminformatics, homology modeling, molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo Simulations, electronic structure calculations as well as QSAR and related statistical methods. Must operate with considerable freedom in meeting the needs of the CAMD customers and choosing appropriate methods; will conduct and oversee large, complex research projects. Critical evaluation of results and good oral and writing skills are essential. Will be responsible for training and supervision of junior lab members in design, execution and analysis of computational studies. Must be able to identify potential problems and recommend/implement solutions. Will be expected to write manuscripts for publication and present results at meetings and/or conferences.
