Cleans kitchen area and cooking utensils. Performs a variety of routine duties in the cafeteria to prepare equipment and foods for service. Serves food and cleans up after meals following established practices and procedures. Serves on tray line. May operate cash register as needed including receiving payment from visitors and staff, balancing the cash drawer after each meal and compiling details for required reports Duties and Responsibilities: + Sets up and serves patient trays in accordance with established schedule and procedures. + Works on central tray line and assists with patient tray set up and preparation. + Prepares, loads, transports, and cleans food carts. + Prepares and sets up steam table, serving line and menu board.
