## Job DescriptionCenter for Research Computing establishes a Quantum Computing Research Laboratory (QCRL) and seeks a Quantum Computing Research Specialist. This position focuses on original research in the theory of quantum computing. Potential broad areas of interest include quantum algorithms, including the design of new algorithms and the fundamental limitations of such algorithms, and/or the theory of quantum error correction, including the development of novel techniques which reduce resource requirements for fault tolerant protocols.Advanced computer skills, including the use of data intensive computing technologies, are also required to support relevant research activities undertaken at the University of Notre Dame.
