Principal Manufacturing Engineer - (Rutland, VT)

A Process Engineer job in Rutland, VT is currently accepting applications. This is a 1-year contract-to-hire position with our key aerospace client. In this role, you will have Ownership of ECM, Forge, PRC, Thermal & Heat Treating, Peening, Milling, Turning, Grinding, Broaching, Finishing Processes. To be considered you will have a BS Degree in an Engineering field and 5+ years of background, equivalent education and background will also be considered. Job responsibilities: Predominantly process, machine, operation focused. Maintains, develops, improves processes and operations. Integrate NPI into processes. Ensure technical plans/operation instructions maintain process control and stability. Strives for cost entitlement, looks for opportunity to reduce cycle time etc. Strives for process capability entitlement, ensures stable robust operations for the operators.
