Operations Engineering Department (OED) Manager - (Las Cruces, NM)

Overview We are seeking an Operations Engineering Department Manager to join our team in Las Cruces, NM for the Space Communications Network Services (SCNS) contract with NASA. The Operations Engineering Department (OED) manager is responsible for 3 functional areas. TDRS spacecraft systems and orbital management Technical Operation and Analysis (TO&A) to include customer and ground system anomaly investigation, analysis, launch planning and support. On-site mission operations management of the Laser Communications Relay Demonstration (LCRD) and Space Test Program Satellite-6 (STPSat-6) projects. This position also serves as the SCNS point of contact to NASA concerning TDRS constellation management, spacecraft configuration, and state of health issues. Interacts with Senior Management and customers on significant issues needing technical guidance, redirection, and/or resolution. Responsibilities The OED manager shall provide leadership and direction to the employees within this group.
