Videos Duties Help Duties Summary The VA Hudson Valley Health Care System is currently recruiting for a full time RN Educator (Community Living Center). This position is located in the Education Department, at the Montrose Campus. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities The role of the Nurse Educator includes (but not limited to) the following: Works collaboratively with management to develop, implement, and evaluate education programs for staff. Maintain and enhance clinical competence, and manage ongoing education and competency programs. Systematically evaluates and facilitates change in clinical practice/standards of care. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational activities within nursing in the Long-term Care Program Promotes evidence based clinical practice and assist staff and leadership with Quality Management and Performance Improvement programs. Collaboration with SIMS program in CFED to develop SIM Lab education.
