Erp Inventory Clerk - (Winston-Salem, NC)

A excellent company is looking for an inventory clerk with SAP background. This is a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm position. Experienced level of clerical purchasing and receiving activities, Follow-up on purchase orders with established vendors by mail, FAX, telephone and personal contacts. Advise vendors of desired delivery dates, working from production schedules. Keep abreast of changes in production requirements and delivery promises and assist in coordinating item delivery from supplier to on-site user. Visit satellite warehouses as necessary. Check specific delivery details and availability of purchased materials or substitute items. Strong knowledge of company's receiving, inventory, and purchasing procedures, computer system and purchase order process. Responsibilities: --Based on forecasts, manages inventory levels across warehouse locations --Works with freight carriers and suppliers to expedite deliveries of product to meet fulfillment needs
