Data Center Business Development Manager III - Northwest - (Chicago, IL)
Position overview: Collaboratively, with Avnet and Technology Partner Sales and Marketing, works to maximize demand creation/design wins at target customers within an assigned territory. Focusing on value add, data center solutions including (typically Xeon-based) server, storage and networking offerings from focus technology partners. Extensive and independent customer engagements should be anticipated. Responsibilities Owns & Drives Account Acquisition in coordination with marketing campaigns (incl. influencing the plan and execution of). The BDM will be the 1st Avnet resource in front of a prospect. Keen Account Targeting – ensures that we are thoroughly engaged with the right opportunities, in the right customers in the focus segments to maximize revenue growth.
