Copy Editor - (Syracuse, NY)

Reporting to the Director of Content, the copy editor will be responsible for the copy editing, proofreading and fact checking electronic, digital and print communications materials. The copy editor will play a central role in the new created content strategy team, the members of which will be responsible for creating all content at the enterprise marketing level. Using his/her deep knowledge and application of AP Style, the copy editor will be responsible for accuracy, consistency, grammar, spelling, punctuation and style. The copy editor will review materials, including but not limited to: the University's alumni magazine, electronic communications such as SU Today, marketing material content and SU News content.
