Mechanic - (Watsonville, CA)

Job summary Assignments include but not limited to: Knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out, OSHA,FDA, and GMP. Welding of stainless steel for food grade applications. Install & setup equip. (VFD, and sensor etc.). Operate and repair Freon refrigeration systems, electrical controls, PLC controlled equipment including palletizers and labeling equipment. Knowledge of machine shop equipment including mill, lathe, shear, brake, plasma cutting, MIG and TIG welding is required for parts fabrication. Requirements: Capable of rebuilding and troubleshooting gearboxes and pump seals etc. , compressed air system, 480 volt electrical distribution systems. Multilingual/Bi-literate English and Spanish is a plus. Must be able to speak, read & write in English. Issue solving abilities, detailed oriented issue solving, safety awareness, technical aptitude, training, working under pressure, active listening, good communications and oral skills. Flexible schedules working nights, weekends & overtime as required.
