Exempt, Full time position Location: Downtown Minneapolis, MN Position overview The Lead Technical Engineer is a senior level technical contributor as well as an effective leader of a development team working on J2EE applications. The Lead Technical Engineer shares responsibility (with the Project Manager, Technical Architect, etc.) for coordinating and monitoring all aspects of the software engineering life cycle across multiple technology platforms and disciplines. The Lead Technical Engineer also provides technical support and mentoring to project teammates. Critical functions Technical Functions Researches, designs, and develops J2EE applications. Analyzes software qualifications to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Consults with customers concerning the technical design and development of software applications and modifications.
