Kleinschmidt has an immediate opening for a Civil/Water Resources Engineer in our Strasburg, Pennsylvania office. Requirements: B.S. in Civil, Water Resources, or Ecological Engineering with 0-four years of background in water resources engineering is required Possess EIT designation and working toward PE registration Background with stream restoration, wetland restoration, and/or dam removal design Background with civil site design and/or erosion and sediment control design Background with AutoCAD, preferably including Civil 3D Familiarity with hydraulic models (1D and 2D HEC-RAS; 3D Flow3D or OpenFOAM a plus) Proficient in Excel, Microsoft word and PowerPoint Proven oral and writing skills Expertise to work well with a multi-discipline design team Must possess permanent authorization to work in the United States Be willing to travel Other Preferred Requirements: Master's degree in water resources or a related engineering field Background with fish passage engineering or traditional or green stormwater
