Solidworks Drafter - (Woodburn, OR)

Job details: Use 2D and 3D modeling software to create company designs into technical drawings and shop plans. Main programs used are SOLIDWORKS 2016 Professional and AutoCAD Mechanical. Work from rough sketches and specifications created by project managers. Produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms, and records using CAD software. Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production and fabrication problems. Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications. Lay out and draw schematic, orthographic, or 3-dimensional views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines. Coordinate with other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design issues or other problems. Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign a labeling system to components. Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques.
