VP, Local Media Sales - (Cincinnati, OH)

Scripps is seeking a VP, Local Media Sales to be based at our corporate office in Cincinnati, OH. This person holds the top sales position in the local media division, responsible for strategic direction and all revenue generating activities in the local and national advertising market place. Develops short- and long-range sales and revenue generating programs with accountability for achieving and exceeding targeted advertising sales revenues for the organization. For our local assets, oversees revenue responsibility for tv, digital, mobile, social and new platforms supporting our local markets. Key activities Lead sales strategies and initiatives for Scripps local media operations Set and oversee vision for development of new revenue opportunities across broadcast, digital, mobile and other new media Prospect and negotiate revenue generating opportunities for the division with programmers, advertisers and vendors Work together with operating stations' general managers
