Cross-Dock Manager - (Laredo, TX)

Position overview This individual is accountable to manage all cross-dock activity including the development of a daily cross-dock schedule, managing all dock labor, administrative labor associated with the dock and working with all divisions to prioritize work activity. The job functions listed below represent the essential position assignments and responsibilities of the above-listed position: Accountable to schedule all cross-dock activity working with all divisions Supervises Dock Laborers and a varied amount of temporary labors in the transloading of freight Manage all administrative personnel associated with the cross-dock Ensures that product is transloaded correctly and proper procedures and safety codes are followed by all personnel Ensures machinery and equipment is properly maintained and operated correctly Ensures dock is kept clean, secure and operated in accordance with OSHA standards Assists customers with any questions, problems
