Position description Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Responsible for the overall management and operation of the laboratory. Stays abreast of changes in technology and regulatory qualifications. Ensures that laboratory functions are consistent with all applicable regulatory agencies. Directly supervises personnel engaged in conducting phlebotomy, routine tests, and blood banking procedures. Develops, recommends, and implements plans, policies, procedures, and budgeting necessary to provide effective laboratory services. Works collaboratively with directors, leadership, and physicians at McLeod Health to ensure consistent practices across the system.
