United States of America - New Mexico, Carlsbad Position details Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking a Central Characterization Program (CCP) Deputy Project Manager to be based at our Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) location in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The successful applicant will Assist the CCP Project Manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in the following areas: * Ensuring CCP waste characterization at assigned locations comply with the WIPP Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC). * Ensuring the integration of work between CCP and TRU waste generators (host facilities) to achieve National TRU Program goals and objectives including schedules and budgets. * Providing direction to assigned personnel regarding execution of work scope. * Performing oversight (management assessments and observations) and developing and implementing corrective actions for deficiencies identified during TRU waste certification audits and internal management assessments.
