Southeast Georgia has an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Manager to join our Cancer Care Center team! Summary: Supervises and provides direct care to the patient population of the Cancer Care Center. Has accountability for the daily coordination of patient flow and care delivery. All teammates of Southeast Georgia Health System will promote a culture of safety, follow established policies, and adhere to all state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and national patient safety standards. The Nurse Manager performs the following required responsibilities: Serves a pivotal role in creating a culture of safety and reducing risks to patients by coordinating and facilitating service activities to deliver quality care based on current standards and evidence based practice. Performs daily tasks of the department, as delegated, including appropriate staffing and scheduling, daily communications, materials management, and patient volumes.
