Veterinary Specialists of Connecticut has an immediate opening for a 6th part time or full time emergency doctor to join our rapidly expanding 24-hour emergency service. Established over 30yrs ago, we are a multidisciplinary general and referral hospital with seventeen doctors and over 50 support staff. Associated services include: internal medicine, surgery, emergency/critical care, general medicine, behavior, physical rehabilitation and telemedicine support. Amenities include: in-house laboratory, color-Doppler ultrasound, GI endoscopy and bronchoscopy, digital radiography, video otoscopy, an in-house 1.5T high field MRI and anesthesia ventilator. Emergency doctors oversee primary case care with an opportunity to perform medical workups and surgery with support from our board-certified specialists. The perfect applicant has strong medical, surgical and communication expertise and an interest in clinical learning and professional growth.
