Senior Inventory Analyst - (Richmond, VA)

Provide accurate, timely and consistent decision support and analytics to the WESCO purchasing and inventory organization. Support and maintain production and ah-hoc reporting, design and develop new tools and data mining projects. Support inventory replenishment tools and algorithms, maintain exceptions and load adjustments to the formulas. Provide support and analytical expertize to the group and region level inventory managers. Detailed Description - Employee required to analyze and interpret complex data. - Develops and executes on demand and ad-hoc reports, including modifying report parameters or source code based on specific needs, expertise to explain report, and summarizing findings. - Administers corporate level programs, including limits of purchasing authorities.Position qualifications BACKGROUND: Supply chain and distribution industry, and knowledge of industry terminology, concepts, and metric - three years required; five or more years preferred.
