Insurance Receivables Specialist - (Columbia, MO)

Education/Background: High-school diploma or GED required; Bachelor Degree preferred. Min 6 mons' background in Home infusion or homecare preferred. Pharmacy technician background desired. Background with insurance verification, 3rd-party payment systems, healthcare benefit assessment, paperwork and documentation for billing Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurances preferred. Previous background and/or knowledge of homecare equipment, supplies and coding preferred. Duties and Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Balances to daily batch deposits Accurately and timely post all cash, checks and credit cards to customer accounts. Make sure we're posting according to Insurance EOB's Make sure we are taking correct adjustments and sending out refunds accordingly Make adjustments and transfer balances appropriately Investigate, monitor and work outstanding A/R for Medicare and NCPDP payers.
