Underwriter, Healthcare - (Itasca, IL)

Our underwriting department is seeking a Sr. Underwriter, healthcare to join our growing team in our Reston, VA offices. This position can also be located in a Hanover field office in Boston, Worcester, MA, Windsor, CT, Richmond, VA, Itasca, IL or Minneapolis. Healthcare Underwriters will prioritize and effectively manage work in a high high-volume production environment, with a focus on customer service through responsiveness, driving the underwriting process and proactively soliciting business from key agency partners. They need to be responsible for underwriting and pricing new and renewal accounts for designated agents, including quoting and documenting new submissions, managing a renewal book and managing task lists for new and renewal accounts.
