Coding Quality Auditor - DRG/APC Coordinator (Remote Option Available) - (Fayetteville, AR)

JOB DESCRIPTION The primary objective of the Coding Compliance Specialist is to ensure coding compliance, integrity of data reporting, and promote Compliance initiatives with clinical professionals and management. The Coding Compliance Specialist role is responsible for developing and maintaining a quality assurance program within the Coding Department by performing case reviews such as but not limited to MS-DRG validation, ICD10 coding accuracy, SOI/ROM capture, diagnosis and procedure accuracy and other coding/documentation improvement opportunities. The incumbent is also responsible for providing evaluation of documentation of medical services provided by WRMC physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other health care professionals and to ensure that all services documented are in compliance with established guidelines, including Medicare and AMA guidelines for coding, reimbursement and TJC standards.
