Senior Project Controls - (Plainfield, IN)

An experienced Senior Project Controls / Cost Analyst is needed for a large utilities company in Plainfield, IN. This position work with a small team of Project Controls Analysts and Schedulers, interfacing primarily with Project Managers and Financial Analysts. Responsibilities: - Compare monthly actuals to the project budget(s), identifying all variances, while simultaneously monitoring the baseline and fiscal budget - Perform cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting for a portfolio of projects budgeted anywhere from $50M to $150M annual spend - Evaluate and assess the variances, identifying trends and burn rates to be presented to project leadership Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Skills: Strong computer skills and the expertise to integrate large amounts of data from multiple databases or systems. Must be able to work with minimal supervision Background in understanding staffing and resource planning is an important element of the day-to-day expectations for this role
