Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist - (Knoxville, TN)

Randstad is currently recruiting for a well established and growing healthcare firm in the West Knoxville area that is seeking experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. Applicants for this position will have background in A/R in a quick paced healthcare setting. Responsibilities: - Follow up with payers, patients, and other appropriate parties to collect payments and due balances. - 2+ years background working in Accounts Receivable in a healthcare setting. - Must have great communication expertise both verbal and written. - Other duties as assigned. Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Skills: - Comply with regulatory billing regulations and policies. - Must have background working with confidential info. - Identify and report payer issues with regards to rejection trends, denials, and changes in payment. - Follow up and complete tasks on pending accounts and settlements. - Must be able to work in a high energy team oriented environment. - Background with insurance companies is a plus.
