Overview The MRI Assistant escorts and/or transports patients to scheduled locations. Assists the technologists in patient preparation, and handling as requested. Works with technologist to position patients for exam. This position will cover multiple sites - Princeton, Onamia, Mora, Crosby. Responsibilities/Position overview Escorts and/or transports patients to scheduled locations. Assists the technologists in patient preparation, and handling as requested. Works with technologist to position patients for exam. Ensures patient data integrity Accurately completes computer documentation functions as directed; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and file jacket transfers in a timely manger. Assists with accurate image identification and jacket preparation or digital image manipulation and archiving as directed. Documents quality parameters as required for regulatory oversight Participates as an active team player. Orients and mentors new employees. Participates in improvement initiatives.
