Equine Surgical Induction/Recovery Assistant - (Gainesville, FL)

Classification Title: Lg An Hosp Recovery Assistant (CARE) Job overview: The foremost responsibility of this position is to provide assistance to Large Animal Surgery Clinicians with the induction and recovery of patients (mostly horses) from surgical and diagnostic procedures. Additionally, this position will assist in the movement of patients; handling, restraining, and positioning for diagnostic and surgical procedures; and cleaning and maintaining ORs, induction and recovery area, and sterile supply. Equine Surgical and Diagnostic Imaging Patient Induction and Recovery Duties (include, but are not limited to): Assist with preparation, anesthetic induction, positioning, and anesthetic recovery for equine surgery, MR and CT imaging.
