Assistant Professor of Music Therapy - (Morgantown, WV)

The West Virginia University Health Sciences Center and the School of Music, (Music Therapy department, College of Creative Arts) seek candidates for the position of Assistant Professor of Music Therapy. This is a full time, 12-month non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between the Health Sciences Center, WVU Medicine and the School of Music and will be housed in the Department of Human Performance. The music therapy program is an exciting new collaboration between the College of Creative Arts and the Health Sciences Center, providing unique opportunities to develop new programs and prepare graduates for work throughout West Virginia. Responsibilities: include development and implementation of clinical music therapy services in various units of the hospital system, teaching music therapy undergraduate courses, and providing clinical supervision for practicum students and interns.
